Elixir Aircraft uses Marple to centralize flight test data, streamline post-flight debriefs, and compare aircraft configurations across hundreds of flights. This helps the team maintain traceability, speed up certification reporting, and make better decisions during intense test campaigns.

Elixir Aircraft is a La Rochelle-based aircraft manufacturer building fourth-generation, full carbon composite aircraft. The company is developing and certifying its aircraft under certification frameworks such as EASA CS-23 and FAA Part 23.
In the video attached, you meet Jocelyn Labourier, who is part of Elixir’s Flight Test department. The flight test team focuses on for proving aerodynamic performance, system behavior, and compliance during their test campaigns.
Flight testing generates large volumes of data across many flights, aircraft configurations, and certification objectives. Engineers need to quickly understand what happened during each test, compare configurations, and keep clear traceability between flights, metadata, pilot notes, and compliance evidence.
Elixir Aircraft integrated Marple into its flight test workflow for data storage, organization, analysis, and reporting. Flight data is uploaded to Marple DB, processed, and made available through Marple Insight, allowing for immediate flight debrief.

During development of the Elixir Plus, the team used Marple to evaluate aerodynamic configurations across hundreds of flights and support immediate post-flight debriefs.
“[Marple]…allows us to debrief after the flight immediately and also complement the crew’s in-flight notes with data”
— Jocelyn Labourier
Once raw data and metadata are uploaded and standardized in Marple DB’s data lakehouse, an engineer can query all that data at once. For example, Elixir uses the Overview feature in Marple Insight to get campaign-level insights.

Being able to access all the test data from different interfaces is truly powerful, allowing for in-depth inspection and comparison of multiple flights as well as quick glances of campaign status for key stakeholders.
“Traceability is key to progress. When hundreds of test are performed and multiple configurations are tested, it is crucial to efficiently navigate between data and flight report”
— Jocelyn Labourier
Once an analysis is made, Marple Insight allows teams to create automated and templated reports that are generated natively and sent as PDFs to services like email, MS Teams, Slack, … or via webhook.

The Reports are customized using a simple to use drag and drop interface, and can be run on pre-defined criteria. Meaning that a user can receive different reports specific to that test’s parameters.
“During short and intense test campaigns, Marple helps us develop valuable time and take better decisions.”
